Each model in the case of rose gold combines a variety of hourly complications
The new models combine the characteristic features of the Traditionnelle collection: a round body with a stepped profile, a thin bezel and a corrugated rear cover; minute scale in the style of “railway”, hour markers in the form of sticks and arrows “dauphine”. The glow of pink gold shades the slate color of the opaque dial, combined with the strap of the skin of the alligator. Each model is equipped with a manufactory mechanism with a manual or automatic winding and is complemented by an exquisite manual finish. This collection shows a variety of watchmaking art – from simple dials to the most sophisticated complications.
Traditionnelle watches of caliber 2755 and Traditionnelle with a tourbillon and a 14-day power reserve are enclosed in cases of rose gold with a diameter of 44 or 42 mm. The first model combines the three main complications of the high watchmaking art: the tourbillon, the perpetual calendar and the minute repeater with the floating regulator of the combat mechanism. The second also includes a skeletonized tourbillon in the form of a Maltese cross and the emblem of the House of Vacheron Constantin.
Other new items: Traditionnelle watch with ultra-thin caliber with automatic winding, Traditionnelle with indication of the day of the week, date and power reserve, Traditionnelle with a simple dial – with manual or automatic winding. Restrained, but sophisticated models are equipped with an automatic caliber with a manual winding, which can be seen through the back of the case made of sapphire crystal. One of the models is equipped with a caliber 1120. This ultra-thin caliber consists of 144 parts. It was designed and assembled at the Vacheron Constantin Manufacture and has a height of only 2.45 mm. The new interpretations are supplemented with the final version of the hand-wound caliber, minute and hour counters, as well as a small second counter at the “6 o’clock” position, the power reserve of which is three days.
