Return to the blue lagoon

Down with the autumn weekdays: the Maldives hosts a new hotel Kanuhura Maldives, gaining popularity due to its unusual concept

Kanuhura Maldives opened in December 2016 in a test mode, completely updating the concept. This new five-star resort, owned by Sun Resorts, is located right on several private islands in the Indian Ocean. In 2017, the hotel earned its full power after a global renovation, for which $ 42 million and 18 months of labor was spent, and already accepting the first guests – the same stylish and elegant ones as himself. Soft colors, natural materials, tropical design, and most importantly, an unusual concept – everything here has a blissful rest.

Kanuhura Maldives follows the concept of gypset, which combines styles gypsy and jet set – a combination of carefree hippy style with bohemian chic. Such a fresh approach developed by Inge Moore – designer and winner of the Gold Key Design of the Year. As president of the European division of the international community Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), she led the development of the design of some of the most luxurious hotels, spas and restaurants in the world. Inge Moore creates stylish interiors that do not lose relevance and have a history, like Kanuhura Maldives.

Cozy villas and bungalows are located on the beach of Kanuhura so that guests can choose what they prefer – to watch in the evening after sunset from a private terrace or to wake up from the rays of the rising sun over a beautiful turquoise lagoon.

In five restaurants and three bars of Kanuhura Maldives you can enjoy the atmosphere and cuisine of many countries of the world – Italy, Brazil, India and, of course, the Maldives. Without any doubt, Kanuhura offers an exceptional gastronomy, not limited to only classic and popular dishes.

The Kokaa Wellness Retreat & Spa is an ideal place to relax and unwind. His visit will definitely become a kind of journey into the world of well-being and harmony with oneself and the surrounding world.
