Until now,webOScould be found onlyin theSmart TVfrom LG,butthe company has repeatedlymade it clear thatthis system canact as acompetitorTizen,an operating systemSamsung.webOS,which is based onPalm OS,remainedaloof from themarketof mobile technologysinceas HPopenedits codeat the end of2011.In 2013,LGboughtthe HPsystem, together with the development teamfor use in theSmart TV.
